FOIL BALLOONS
FLOATING TIME

💡 Foil balloons generally have a much longer floating than latex balloons and can FLOAT FOR DAYS OR UP TO WEEKS, depending on the size of balloon and tightness of seal!
WHY? Foil material is less porous as compared to latex balloons, and is able to contain the helium gas inside better, preventing it from escaping quickly.
FLOATX

Check out FLOATX!
Balloon Treatment Liquid which helps EXTENDS latex balloon float time by 3 TO 5 TIMES!
NEED YOUR LATEX BALLOONS TO
FLOAT LONGER?

HOW IT WORKS?

WITHOUT FLOATX
The material of latex balloon is quite porous, and helium gas naturally escapes quickly from the balloon, leading to shorter float time.
WITH FLOATX
By applying FloatX liquid in the balloon, a coating is formed to help hold the helium gas in the balloon longer before they escape. Thus, the latex balloon float time is extended.

LATEX BALLOONS
> 8-INCH

Latex balloons will float if inflated to larger than 8-inches
BOBA BALLOONS
Boba balloons will generally float when properly inflated to a spherical size of 18-inch or larger. Please take note that if you are inserting any objects, the weight of the object will affect the buoyancy of the balloon.

TIPS
&
TRICKS
Some tips & tricks to make your parties EASIER & HAPPIER!

Prepare your latex balloons around an hour before your event to maximize float time
Inflate your latex balloons to around 10-inches for a recommended float time of 5-6 hours

Apply FloatX if you need a longer floating time for your latex balloons
Need balloon weights? You can use the free balloons provided as balloon weights by filling them with water

For foil and boba balloons, do make sure that they are helium compatible before inflating
And for foil balloons, do be careful to not spoil the seal when inflating them

Tie a ribbon around the balloons for a neater looking bouquet

AFTER USE
Not sure what to do with your empty tank? Here's some information from us!
Is there an expiry date to the helium tank? Can I open the helium tank and use it another on a later date?
There is no expiry for the helium tank, so if you have any remaining helium, you can always store it for future use! Just make sure to turn the valve back clockwise and avoid storing under direct sunlight 👍
How do I dispose the helium tank?
You can dispose of the tank normally as helium gas is not flammable. Just make sure that the tank is empty of any helium gas before you dispose/recycle!
Alternatively, if you are self-collecting on your next purchase, you can bring along the empty tank and receive $3 off your next tank! 😊
Is the helium tank safe for storage?
The helium tank is safe for storage as helium is not flammable (inert gas) and the pressure of the tank is actually less that of a fire extinguisher ✅
Is it possible to know how much helium gas is there still in the tank?
As this is a disposable helium tank, we do not provide the pressure gauge with the tank. You can refer to the quantity guide to estimate the remaining helium gas in the tank
Is it possible to refill the tank?
The Balloon Express helium tank is a disposable tank and we currently do not offer refilling services at the moment
